My friends and I were looking for an Italian spot and I saw this one, not many reviews but high ratings. It was just my group and one others in the restaurant, but the atmosphere was nice and the decorations were pretty. They immediately greeted us and served water and the food didn't take long either. Honestly, this food was sooo delicious and I highly recommend it. It's in an odd spot, and I hoped people passing by would stop by because of how good everything was, service and food. I didn't take a picture of our main meals but I did our dessert. OVERALL I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT.

We went during Friday lunch service and we were seated immediately. They offered us the Lunch menu, the specials menu, and the kids menu with a crayon, which has a little maze activity, and the main menu with dinner and appointed on it. They said we could order anything including dinner items, which was great bc I had my eye on making my own pasta! There was free warm bread and olive oil balsamic dip. Very very nice. We ordered the pappardelle funghi with chicken, cheese tortellini, and kid’s spaghetti polpette. It was super delicious!! Fresh pasta and yummy sauces. The littles shared and loved their food esp. the giant single meatball on top of their spaghetti. Each plate was definitely a lot of food but it was so good that I was just excited to take some home and savor it again later. I’m coming back again! Their service was so great too. Very pleasant and friendly servers. They saw my littles getting messy and offered a ton of napkins. They came by to check on us regularly but not overbearingly. They told me they just started up in Feb 2025 so the business is still growing but this place is amazing!

Tldr, An exquisite and remarkable delight!!! If you're one of those folks that say you like OliveG then go to McDonald's, grab a McChicken and put a craft singles slice on top of it slathered in ketchup you probably would call it a chicken parm...rethink your life choices and GO TO PEZZI DEL MIO CUORE!!! Disclaimer* this isn't like a family style sharing portion however the portions for each individual order/meal were massive! This was an experience. Vibe and atmosphere is peak aesthetic ngl I felt a little under dressed but thankfully it's not a black tie restaurant. The service was above and beyond! Courteous and professional wait staff. They sold the experience. The food. THE FOOD. Molto bene! Ngl I will tell you because I had my doubts but b r o t h e r/s i s t e r. We started with the insalata and antipasti. The Caesar salad was really well done idk if they make their own dressing but it definitely doesn't taste like a store bought dressing this was done right. Antipasti mediteranto. The freshest seafood I have had during my existence of living in California and I'm from an island and go fishing. The calamari and octopus were tender. It was not chewy or rubbery at all. The balsamic vinegar the olive oil were just right. The arugula and tomatoes crispy and fresh. Meatballs were as described meatballs. Freshly minced meat with just the right amount of herbs and spices. The sauce is what really brought it all together and dipping the freshly baked bread on it was amazing. Scapolline marsalas. Soo most of the time at Italian joints I get a carbonara, ciopinno or the chicken marsala. I ordered the marsala at Pezzi del mio Cuore. Reading must've been hard for me that day coz I wasn't expecting mash potatoes I was expecting pasta. So that was my error not the restaurants lol; HOWEVER, this dish was amazing. The mash potatoes were light, creamy yet firm and it was fluffy in your mouth. The pork used as the protein in this dish was even moreso just as divine. It was seasoned really well and to my surprise it was not dry. The sauce. My god the sauce! Creamy, rich, full and robust. I truly did enjoy this dish and I want more. My wife got the carbonara and she enjoyed it as did I and that was the best carbonara I ever had in California. The rich creamy sauce had a layer of smokiness which add some depth to the dish. My table also ordered the lobster ravioli and the gnocchi. The lobster ravioli was just as exquisite. The sweet meat paired with the sauce was really out of this world! I didn't get to fully experience the gnocchi because I was already quite full with my meal but from what my friend said they enjoyed it very much. I will be definitely returning because I want to try different dishes on their menu. If you're in the area and just came from hanging out at Old Town San Diego I implore you to visit and dine here! Mangia!

Friendly, family owned & delicious food! Some of the best FETTUCCINI I've ever had & the pink (vodka) sauce is out of this world! Slightly fruity & aromatic; really augments any seafood which I'd enthusiastically recommend! Reasonably priced considering the quality & location, and their generous portions. My mom & I split a *limited time* pasta with multiple kinds of seafood including lobster, oysters, mussels & shrimp for around $36 total (about $18 a piece) & were both satisfied, no appetizer needed (though you get bread and olive oil free). Even HALF a full serving of pasta (pictured below) is plentiful. The store is adorable; modern but stylistic & warm WITH OUTDOOR SEATING along the windows (they're in a small shopping center conveniently next to the freeway & Seaworld's entrance). The Affogato (an espresso shot over ice cream; $11) was delicious as well and could also be shared.

Highly recommend! Outside seating and fantastic dishes. We're visiting from out of state and were at Sea World all day. The food is very expensive and has horrible choices. Overall point, I'm so glad we tried this authentic Italian restraunt!! We got to sit outside and watch the fireworks from Sea World. Every dish was fantastic. I'm not sure what the dishes' exact names were, but the lobster ravioli was flavored so well, probably my favorite. The chicken parmesan was perfectly cooked. Spaghetti and meatballs were great. Meatballs were soft and juicy. The gnocchi were also cooked so well, with no issues with toughness or chewness. The cheese tortellini was great for my little one. If I'm ever in town again, you best bet this will be my first stop!! Loved every bit from food to service to the atmosphere!!

Stopped in on a weeknight for dinner with my daughter. We were immediately greeted and seated. We ordered the fettuccine alla vodka, kid’s butter noodles, tiramisu, and gelato. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this place.

Usually never leave reviews but this place amazed my family as soon as we walked in. As soon as we got dropped off from our Uber, our waiter stepped outside to greet us and welcome us in. The waiter explained everything so well and the portions of the food were amazing. Spectacular service and great atmosphere. The food was exceptional! Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for great Italian food.
